This 5-hour custom, private tour picks up from any location you prefer on Oahu. You will proceed to Pearl Harbor, with tickets booked for you in advance, no waiting in line necessary. The tour also then usually continues to the Punchbowl Cemetery and Pu'u Ualaka'a State Park (Tantalus Lookout), but you will have the option of instead visiting one of the other sites at Pearl Harbor. Throughout the tour, you will be accompanied by an expert guide able to answer any questions about the technical, historical, and personal impacts of the Attack on Pearl Harbor, the events leading up to it, and the effects that rippled through history up to the present day.

On December 7, 1941, the world changed forever. The events of that day continue to reverberate all the way down to the present. Come see history come to life on a living battlefield.
From the pickup at your hotel, cruise ship, or other location, we'll proceed to the World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument at Pearl Harbor. I'll accompany you inside and give you an introduction to the site. U. S. National Park service regulations don't allow me to conduct a full tour inside, but the site is compact and easy to navigate. After you tour the museum and take the ferry to the USS Arizona memorial, you will have the option of visiting other on-shore memorials, and the USS Bowfin, a WWII submarine.
After your Pearl Harbor visit, we will travel to the Punchbowl National cemetery and visit Pu'u Ualaka'a State Park, from which we will have a panoramic view of the entire city, including Pearl Harbor. Throughout the entire tour I will share my knowledge of WWII history including several eye-witness reports shared with me local

It’s time for action! Your Sunset and Fireworks photography tour on Oahu will guide you through an adventure of visual stimulation and heart-pounding explosions. Through the drama of sunset casting color over unique cloud formations and a silhouetted skyline to photographing a powerful fireworks show, you’ll learn how to use your camera at any time of day or night.
After traveling around to bays made by volcanoes, blow-holes, botanical gardens, battle locations, and local food stops, we will end this night photo journey with a powerful firework show and a little lesson in light painting. We could explain what it is exactly, but it’s better to witness this in person.
This tour is only offered on Fridays, and we only allow 7 passengers. We don't need to tell you that space is limited ... but, just in case, space is limited. So if you want to see parts of the island that will blow you away and then a firework show, we recommend booking that tour ASAP!

Looking for something different to do in Hawaii? Oahu Photography Tours offer you the “Sunset & Fireworks Photography Tour” every Friday. This event is fantastic for everyone to join! We start by photographing Hanauma bay as the sun lights up its turquoise waters and abundant reefs. If you don't have the chance to swim in the bay, you'll have the opportunity to view it from above to capture panoramic photos of this world famous bay formed by a volcanic explosion.
A short hop down the road is the Halona Blow-Hole lookout and the Kaiwi coastline. This area of O'ahu is much younger than the rest, and its rugged feel shows it. The blowhole is a perfect place to capture postcard quality photos. Eternity beach is located just below the lookout. A famous movie spot for many blockbuster films. Have your guide point our turtles to you.
Let's take time to stop and smell the Plumerias in a botanical garden hidden in a volcanic crater. Depending on the time of year, you can be overwhelmed by the pleasant scents of these tropical flowers. We could be lucky to snap a photo of the elusive Mongoose in the garden.
After a stop overlooking Makapu'u bay, we will fill our bellies with some delicious Hawaiian food at Ono's Steak and Shrimp. Our guides do not like stopping at mediocre food spots. Ono Steak and Shrimp have built a reputation for having some of the tastiest, juiciest, mouthwatering food around. We don't mess around when it comes to food.
Let's walk off that meal on the white sands of Waimanalo Bay. Voted the number 1 beach in America in 2015, this beach will not have you guessing why it was ranked so high. The ironwood trees that line the shore create a dreamy look as if you are walking through a fairytale forest to a hidden beach you would only see in your dreams.
Over 400 hundred Hawaiians were thrown from the cliffs in what's now known as the Battle of Nuuanu. At the Pali lookout out, you will be able to capture perfect panoramic photos the span from Kualoa Ranch to Kaneohe Bay, and  Kailua. Have you heard of the Stair Way to Heaven hike? You can even see that from here.
Let's now find a place to set up for sunset. We have many different locations to choose from for your sunset photos. No matter what, we will find a place to watch the sun paint beautiful colors into the sky as it says its goodbye for the day.
Your tour is not over yet. A joyful event that also happens to make for artistic photos no matter what camera you bring! We’ll get you set up in a prime position to watch this sky performance as well as capture epic pictures. You’re going to love this!
Don’t worry, shooting in low light may be intimidating but we’ll teach you how to use your camera to take stellar photos during darker times of the day. It’s easier than you might think! The photographs you’ll capture from this photo tour will astonish you! This tour is a unique thing in Hawaii to do.
